In addition to my academic work, I am a trained dialogue facilitator
with extensive experience organizing and leading dialogues in Europe and the US. You can read about my work with the Dutch organization Utrecht in Dialoog, where I helped develop dialogues on women's suffrage, social inclusion, and cultural diversity, here.
In Dayton, I have collaborated with the University's Dialogue Zone to develop dialogues on immigration, democracy, and protest. I also worked with the mayor's office and civil society groups to organize a community forum on gun violence after the August 2019 mass shooting in Dayton.
Over the past year, I have led the Human Rights Center's main dialogue program, known as its Flyer Forums series. Topics for these dialogues included elections, hate, and racism as a public health crisis. Further information about these dialogues can be found on the fliers below.
